How do I prepare for my massage?

Please complete your intake form (sent via text or email) before your appointment. This helps me understand what your body needs and allows us to use our time together effectively.

Arrive a few minutes early so you can settle in without feeling rushed. Share any specific concerns or goals at the start of your session.

Wear comfortable clothing and remove jewelry if possible. Hydrate well throughout the day and eat a light meal a few hours before your appointment.

If you plan to exercise, it’s generally best to do so before your session so your body can fully relax afterward.

What should I expect during my session?

Sessions are designed to be calm, supportive, and tailored to what your body needs that day.

You’ll be draped comfortably under a sheet and blanket on a heated table, and you’ll be able to undress to your comfort level in complete privacy before we begin.

I use a combination of therapeutic techniques and natural, organic products to support both relaxation and results.

The space is intentionally quiet and grounding, with soft music playing. You’re welcome to rest, breathe, and let your body guide the pace of the session.

You don’t need to engage in conversation unless you want to. Many clients find it helpful to simply settle in and receive.

What are the benefits of massage?

Massage therapy supports the body in both immediate and long-term ways. Depending on your needs, benefits may include:

  • Reduced muscle tension and pain
  • Improved circulation and lymphatic flow
  • Support for recovery from injury or overuse
  • Nervous system regulation and stress relief
  • Better sleep quality
  • Relief from headaches, jaw tension, and chronic holding patterns
  • Increased awareness of how your body is moving and feeling

From my perspective, consistent bodywork isn’t just about easing symptoms—it’s about helping your system stay more balanced, resilient, and responsive over time.

How often should I get a massage?

There isn’t a single “right” frequency. It depends on what your body is working through and how you want to feel.

  • For acute pain or recent injury:
Weekly or biweekly sessions are often helpful at the beginning to support healing, reduce compensation patterns, and restore mobility.
  • For chronic tension or long-standing patterns:
More frequent sessions at first can help retrain the body. Chronic issues tend to require repetition and consistency to shift. As your body begins to hold the work, sessions can be spaced further apart.
  • For general maintenance and stress support:
Many people find a monthly session helpful to stay balanced and prevent buildup of tension.

I always encourage listening to your body. If something feels like it’s building again, that’s often your cue. Many clients choose to schedule their next session before leaving to stay consistent and supported.

What are the benefits of working with a health coach?

A health coach offers steady, personalized support as you work toward your health goals. This includes guidance, accountability, and practical education—without overwhelm or unrealistic expectations.

As an integrated wellness practitioner, I bring together my background in massage therapy and aesthetics to support the body as a whole. This allows us to look at patterns, not just symptoms, and consider how stress, nutrition, lifestyle, and physical tension all connect.

My coaching is especially focused on helping you understand your body and make sustainable changes that support how you want to feel.

If you’re interested in a more structured path, my GLOW program is designed to support skin, health, and nutrition through a thoughtful, step-by-step approach.
